Quality and transparency for natural and organic cosmetics

No legal definition of Natural Cosmetics exists as ever more products are marketed under the banner of organic, ecological and natural properties. For consumers and manufacturers alike, the situation is becoming increasingly confusing. But a Natural Cosmetic has a meaning. NaTrue aims to preserve it.

NaTrue is an International Association of Natural and Organic Cosmetic manufacturers who aim to safeguard the highest possible standards for natural cosmetics and their ingredients.

NaTrue believes that a definition of Natural & Organic Cosmetics must be solely intended to meet consumers’ expectations in terms of highly natural formulations and skin compatibility.

Transparency & guidance

NaTrue has introduced such criteria in establishing the three grade NaTrue label with stringent definitions for Natural Cosmetics and Organic Cosmetics. Designed to strengthen consumer’s trust around the world, they are transparent and publicly accessible. The label is not for profit and membership in NaTrue is not a condition for certification.

Awareness for Natural Cosmetics

Based in Brussels, NaTrue represents its member’s interest towards legislative Institutions as well as providing an effective platform and network to promote Natural Cosmetics. Securing the availability and diversity of premium raw materials and raising public awareness about the benefits of Natural Cosmetics for consumer health and the environment are key objectives.
