Reliable and mild – intense skin protection and care for young and old Organic evening primrose oil and yest derived betaglucan are the key ingredients of the Neutral Sun care products. Organic evening primrose oil is especially rich in essential fatty acids. It actively supports the natural skin protection barrier (hydro-lipid mantle), a barrier, that extremely sensitive skin or skin affected by neurodermitis cannot build up entirely of its own resources.
Product properties
Yeast derived betaglucan stimulates the Langerhans cells, thus increasing the skin’s immune powers. In short, it encourages the skin to work faster. The skin develops more quickly melanin (or a sun tan) and is thus better protected from incoming UV rays. Other important ingredients of the complex formula are organic oils from almonds and sunflower as well as berry wax, skin-soothing canola oil and organic liquorice root extracts. Organic jojoba oil moisturizes the skin, while vitamin C and vitamin E protect the skin cells from damaging oxidation processes.
Main ingredients
Evening primrose oil obtained from the seeds of the evening primrose (coc), rich in essential fatty acids, most suitable for sensitive skin and skin prone to allergies. Almond oil obtained from sweet almonds, contains vital substances (vitamins A, B, E), minerals and trace elements (magnesium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, copper) leaves a thin protective film on the skin and has great nourishing properties. Vitamins E and C protect the cell membranes. Sunflower oil obtained by cold pressing organic sunflower seeds, smoothes and softens the skin, contains a high percentage of vitamin E and beta carotene, because of its high skin tolerance also very suitable for problem skin. Sunflowers are very special plants – they always turn towards the sun and follow its course. The centre contains up to 2,000 seeds. Cold-pressed sunflower oil contains a surprisingly high percentage of vitamin E (approx. 70 mg/100ml), beta carotene and colouring agents. It is extremely rich in unsaturated fatty acids (approx. 30% monosaturated, 60% bisaturated).
