Nobel Peace Prize Laureat Muhammad Yunus will inaugurate the Vision Summit 2009 on 8 November 2009, on the eve of the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall.

The theme of this year’s vision summit is ‘Another wall to fall’. It will discuss the potential of Social Business to combat poverty and the destruction of ecosystems around the world. Many other Nobel peace prize winners, international thought leaders and decision makers from industry, politics and civil society as well as many dedicated individuals and social entrepreneurs will gather to spark an impulse that makes a difference.

NaTrue will be present at the summit and is co-organising a conference on 7 November, entitled ‘Verantwortung Jetzt! Gemeinsam Zukunft gestalten’ (Responsibility now – Shaping our future together’).

Muhammad Yunus will participate in the discussions around how sustainable business pioneers can support other companies and the economy as a whole to adapt truly sustainable practices.

Forging new alliances is a key objective and pioneers from different sectors, ranging from banking to fashion will present experiences and best practices - and this includes pioneers of Natural Cosmetics.
