Hibiscus from Meru Herbs (Kenya) – the water project - In the Meru district (Kenya) hundreds of small-scale farmers harvest and process chamomile and hibiscus. They belong to the Meru Herbs cooperative, that was founded for a water project (n’guru gawirke water project), aimed at recovering the water sources at the feet of Mount Kenya, supporting the local economy and bringing water to houses and local communities.
